Dane Lloyd is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Sturgeon River-Parkland.
Dane Lloyd was elected Member of Parliament for Sturgeon River-Parkland on October 23, 2017, succeeding Conservative interim leader the Honourable Rona Ambrose.
Since his election, Dane has been appointed Deputy Shadow Minister for Internal Trade and Tourism. He also serves on the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology.
Dane’s priorities this Parliament are to stand up for the rights of victim’s families by championing C-437 known as McCanns’ Law. He has also fought for Canada’s agriculture sector and advocates for critical pipeline infrastructure to support our energy industry.
In addition to his Parliamentary responsibilities, Dane holds a commission as an infantry Lieutenant with the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves.
His family has farmed outside of Spruce Grove for generations and Dane is proud to call Alberta his home. Dane graduated from Trinity Western University with a degree in History and Political Studies in 2013.
Representing the people of Sturgeon River Parkland is the highest honour of Dane’s life and he looks forward to continuing to serve his constituents.
